Hello! As the last progress check for this Fall semester, I'll keep it short and sweet because finals have been a roller coaster. I was able to create the main controls for the turtle.
My goal is to finish the other controls, like the face controls and other attributes that would make this adorable turtle stand out. In addition, I want to test and animate crabby and this rig before next semester.
Other main goals for myself that I want to accomplish winter break:
Deep Clean;
- Finish all creature rigs; turtle, octopus, background fish, background crabs
- Work on finish texturing the turtle
- Work on texturing, specifically creating a shader in UE5 for everything. I've noticed that our environment and characters have different styles of textures, so it would be best to learn more about shaders in UE5. Our film want this stylized, cartoonish textures.
- Create a sophisticated Task Time sheet for Spring '23
- Work with environmental props, so help with sculpting and modeling
Dim;
- Create realistic goals for VFX
- Collaborate and discuss about the end goals for effects
- Finish those goals
