Welcome back!
Since I like to be honest, this past week was rough. While I did get some work done, there was definitely some obstacles outside and inside of production. The plan was to finalize the character's rigging and start to block them into the scene, but I encountered issues within the group. I'm trying my best to keep that momentum and spark, but I'm consistanly reminded that I'm the only one giving all of my energy. I feel uncertain about this film, but it could just be that this past week was frustrating because of the things that happened to me outside of production/school. Just to clarify, not every member is making me feel like this. Overall, I'm just extremely tried.
I was able to get the body mechanic controls rigged for the turtle. The face needs some work, but it's ready to be blocked and rougly animate it.
I keep having issues with Crabby's rig, but I'll find a situation this weekend. I also gave the Whale rig task to Bryce early this week because I have too much on my plate and he already had this well done rig for the baby whale.

For Dim, I have this good starting point for the Ring Master's effects.
I plan to experiment a lot more this weekend and see what I can do to make this rainbow fit with the style of Dim. I'm definitely learning a lot in UE5, especially how materials and Niagara works, which I feel pretty proud about it.
For next week's goals is to get that Crabby Rig finished, have the School of Fish in Maya, and start blocking/rough animating sequence 03 (the whole school of fish, turtle, and crabby sequence). For Dim, obivously working on more effects and experimenting the styles, etc.
